Welcome to GlideFetch (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our platform, website, or mobile application (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using GlideFetch.

Overview of GlideFetch

GlideFetch is a social connection platform that connects requesters with travelers to facilitate peer-to-peer delivery arrangements. We provide a communication space but are not a courier service, transportation provider, payment processor, or retailer.

Requesters

Individuals seeking to have an item delivered.

Travelers

Individuals willing to carry and deliver items along their travel route.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GlideFetch, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract.
  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • You comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your country of residence and destination.

If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

Roles & Responsibilities

For Requesters

  • Provide accurate item details, value, and delivery instructions.
  • Negotiate and agree on payment terms directly with the traveler before confirming a request.
  • Confirm delivery promptly after receiving the item in good condition.
  • Ensure requested items are legal and non-prohibited.
  • Complete payment to the traveler as agreed upon between both parties.

For Travelers

  • Safely handle and deliver the item as described.
  • Do not tamper with, misuse, or open any sealed package without consent.
  • Comply with all customs, airline, and local transport regulations.
  • Agree on clear payment terms with the requester before accepting a delivery.
  • Honor all commitments made regarding delivery timelines and item handling.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited on GlideFetch:

  • Illegal or controlled substances
  • Firearms, explosives, or weapons
  • Perishable or flammable goods
  • Stolen, counterfeit, or restricted items
  • Live animals, plants, or biological materials
  • Any item banned by customs or airline authorities

GlideFetch reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user involved in prohibited item transactions.

Platform Purpose

GlideFetch is a social platform that connects requesters with travelers to facilitate peer-to-peer arrangements.

The platform provides a space for users to communicate and coordinate, but does not participate in, oversee, or guarantee any transactions or deliveries.

All arrangements, including payment terms, delivery methods, timelines, and logistics, are made independently between users.

GlideFetch serves solely as a communication tool and is not a party to any agreement between requesters and travelers.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Negotiating and agreeing upon all terms of exchange, including pricing and payment methods.
  • Verifying the identity, reliability, and trustworthiness of other users.
  • Ensuring safe and secure payment practices.
  • Completing deliveries and honoring commitments made to other users.

GlideFetch strongly recommends users exercise caution, conduct due diligence, and use secure payment methods when transacting with others.

No Platform Liability

GlideFetch is not responsible for:

  • Any payments, refunds, or financial transactions between users.
  • Lost, damaged, incorrect, or undelivered items.
  • Disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, or misconduct by users.
  • The quality, legality, or safety of items being requested or delivered.

Users engage with one another at their own risk and agree to hold GlideFetch harmless from any losses or damages arising from their interactions on the platform.

Insurance & Damage

GlideFetch does not provide insurance, warranties, or guarantees for any items transported through the platform.

We do not cover:

  • Lost or stolen items
  • Damaged items during transit
  • Items confiscated by customs
  • Delivery delays or non-delivery

Disputes Between Users

GlideFetch does not mediate payment or delivery disputes between users. However, we may:

  • Review reported violations and ban users who break platform rules
  • Provide chat history as evidence (upon legal request)
  • Cooperate with law enforcement for fraud investigations
  • Share information when legally required

For disputes with GlideFetch itself:

  • Users must first attempt to resolve via email to info@glidefetch.com
  • If unresolved, disputes will be handled through arbitration under Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

Taxes & Customs

Users are solely responsible for:

  • All import duties, taxes, and customs fees
  • Declaring items honestly at customs
  • Complying with destination country import regulations
  • Reporting income earned through GlideFetch to tax authorities

Requesters must reimburse travelers for any customs duties paid on their behalf (if agreed upon).

Frequent travelers earning significant income must report earnings and comply with tax laws in their jurisdiction.

Liability & Risk

GlideFetch acts only as an intermediary platform, not as a courier or insurance provider.

We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage caused by users.

Travelers and requesters use the platform at their own risk.

While we employ verification and review systems to promote trust, we do not guarantee user actions, reliability, or honesty.

User Conduct

You agree not to engage in the following while using GlideFetch:

  • Use GlideFetch for lawful, genuine delivery arrangements only.
  • Provide accurate, honest information and maintain a single account.
  • Treat all users respectfully; harassment, threats, or abuse are prohibited.
  • Do not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.

Violations may result in immediate suspension, termination, or legal action.

Intellectual Property

GlideFetch and its logos, trademarks, and content are owned by GlideFetch and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
  • Create competing services using GlideFetch data
  • Use GlideFetch branding without written permission

User-Generated Content

By posting requests, reviews, or messages, you grant GlideFetch a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute this content for platform operation and marketing purposes.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Transporting prohibited items (immediate permanent ban)
  • Fraudulent behavior or scams
  • Harassment or abuse of other users
  • Creating multiple accounts
  • Violating community guidelines (3-strike system for minor offenses)

Terminated users:

  • Lose access immediately
  • Cannot create new accounts
  • Are not entitled to refunds
  • May be reported to law enforcement for illegal activity

Privacy

Your data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we handle personal information and communications. GlideFetch will never share your private data without consent, except as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlideFetch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

We are not responsible for customs confiscations, delivery delays, payment disputes, fraud, or third-party mishandling of items.

GlideFetch does not guarantee the reliability, honesty, or actions of any user on the platform. Users interact at their own risk.

Our total liability for any claims related to the platform shall not exceed the amount of fees (if any) paid by you to GlideFetch in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Force Majeure

GlideFetch is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, pandemics)
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government restrictions or travel bans
  • Airline/transportation cancellations
  • Technical failures or cyber attacks

Users acknowledge that delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GlideFetch, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
  • Any arrangements, transactions, or disputes with other users.
  • Your violation of any laws or regulations.
  • Any item you request, deliver, or handle through the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GlideFetch shall be resolved in the courts of India.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect platform improvements, legal requirements, or new features. Users will be notified of major updates via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of GlideFetch after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
